The 16 hour auto-off feature prevents your battery from draining if you accidentally leave it on. Precision machined from 6061 T6 Hardcoat anodized aluminum and outfitted with a scratch resistant, anti-glare glass lens. The HEX Dragonfly is a durable, standard size reflex red dot that delivers lightning-fast target acquisition and faster follow up shots. This came off to be the perfect replacement (with improved battery life) for the hex wasp, which has been officially discontinued by Springfield Armory.

Great sight. Perfect fit with the plate I got for free from Springfield. Have not zeroed it in yet, but planning on it next weekend. Only thing I’m not crazy about is the battery being under the sight, I don’t like that I have to remove the sight in order to change the battery. But I’ll survive. All in all I’m very happy with it and recommend it highly!

Hex fits great on my 1911DS. Can acquire target fast and is accurate. Very few adjustments were made, Just as good if not better that my Leupold Delta point.

Perfect addition to the excellent Prodigy 4.25″, fits perfectly, looks great and works great. Co-witnesses perfectly with the Prodigy front sight and the AOS plate rear sight. Happy to see #6 fasteners, and even with a lower-end 10 in-lbf torque, for #6, the RDS doesn’t budge. Would have loved a circle dot instead of a dot only and possibly a little deflector feature as the Prodigy’s loaded chamber indicator sends foul gas directly into the RDS window… 4 stars is a little harsh, would be more 4.5 starts if it was an option…
